I have recently acquired this brooch and know very little about this apart from the fact that it is Indian in origin and was made around the beginning of the 20th century. The brooch appears to be wrapped in silver however I do not have any way of checking this, The brooch is also missing the pin on the rear of the brooch however this would be very easy to replace,This in no way detracts from this beautiful and very rare item. If you have any questions please ask item pre-dates 1947, cites regulations and has been worked, meaning changed from its natural form into a piece of jewellery. It is classified an antique.
